Any time an Artist’s Visual Pitch is viewed by an Industry Professional, My Visual Pitch .com date stamps the particulars of the visit (including Industry Professional name, time of visit, project(s) viewed, number of views, etc.), stores this information in the site database, and makes some of this information available to the Artist.

Industry Professionals seeking further information from an Artist regarding a particular project (including screenplays, treatments, mp3s, biographical information, etc.) are asked to contact the Artist directly, as My Visual Pitch .com is not responsible for the release and dissemination of an Artist's material. In the event you cause fines and/or penalties to be charged to Company by the Credit Card Associations or any other entity, you agree to reimburse Company immediately for said fines and/or penalties.

Information Collection and Use

My Visual Pitch .com collects personally identifiable information when you register for an account on the site. During registration, we ask for your contact information (such as your name, street address and e-mail address), as well as certain information pertaining to your business, along with billing information such as a bank account and/or credit card number.

In the course of processing a payment transaction, we typically receive from the merchant or a financial institution information related to the transaction. This normally includes information about the payment that a consumer has furnished the merchant or financial institution in placing the order. Personally identifiable consumer information is shared with third parties (such as banks and credit card processors) to the extent necessary for My Visual Pitch .com to deliver payment processing services.

An Artist or Industry Professional’s contact information will be used to get in touch with the member when necessary, especially in instances where information pertinent to a member’s subscription (including credit card transactions, etc.) must be conveyed. Members may not opt out of this type of correspondence.

However, from time to time, My Visual Pitch .com may send industry-related information, special offers, or service updates to our registered Artists and Industry Professionals. Members may opt-out of receiving these types mailings by emailing the site administrator.

My Visual Pitch .com does not give out, sell, broker or otherwise distribute mailing lists, contact information or personal demographics information to third party companies or non-members. Correct/Update

This site allows users to update and modify information previously provided, such as biographical data, member contact information, as well as information pertaining to an Artist’s creative material, such as synopses, treatments, scripts/books, mp3s, demo discs, albums, etc.

User Protocol

Members Only

My Visual Pitch .com is for the use of Artist and Industry Professional members only. To protect an Artist's creative material, members are prohibited from sharing their username and password.

Protect Your Creative Material

All Artists wishing to upload Visual Pitch(es) of screenplays, teleplays, music videos, and other creative content are strongly encouraged to first register their material through the National Creative Registry, the Writers Guild of America, or the United States Copyright Office, as applicable. Proof of registration, if supplied, will be displayed along with the Artist's profile each time a Visual Pitch is viewed.

Removal of Creative Material

My Visual Pitch .com requests that all Artist material uploaded to the site conform to MPAA PG-13 rating standards and that Artists refrain from use of excessive violence or graphic imagery. Visual Pitches designed to promote pornographic material of any nature are strictly prohibited from the site. My Visual Pitch .com may remove any and all content it deems pornographic in nature. No refund will be issued for material removed from the site.

Artist/Industry Professional Correspondence

Industry Professionals using My Visual Pitch .com expect their privacy to be protected and respected. For this reason, Artists are prohibited from contacting an Industry Professional who may have viewed a Visual Pitch or visited their Artist Page. It is the Industry Professional's sole discretion whether or not to initiate contact with an Artist whose material he or she has viewed if the Industry Professional feels the creative material is right for them.

My Visual Pitch .com provides daily updates regarding viewing activity on an Artist's Page as a courtesy and a form of protection only. Artists who violate an Industry Professional's privacy by initiating contact regarding a viewed Visual Pitch, whether by phone, email, or regular mail, will be removed from My Visual Pitch .com without refund. Industry Professionals are asked to immediately report an Artist who violates this guideline.

By posting a Visual Pitch, Artist agrees to pay My Visual Pitch .com a finders fee of 2.5% of all gross compensation that Artist is able to generate through the posted Visual Pitch, including, without limitation, compensation from options, acquisitions, licensing and any other transactions derived from or related to the Visual Pitch posted by Artist.

My Visual Pitch .com reserves the right to change this User Protocol at its discretion and without notification.
